Subterranean termites have started swarming in Naples & Estero and Fort Myers. We noticed our first swarm in Estero on February 9, 2013. We are also getting reports of them in Bonita Springs and Estero. If you’ve seen pests like the ones in the pictures recently, that means there is a subterranean termite colony close by and they are looking to start new colonies through their mating season. Typically this “Swarm Season” goes from sometime in February to as long as April in South Florida.
